Before we get into the heavenly details, let’s rewind. I met this amazing duo a year ago when they were living their best van life and exploring the beauty of Joshua Tree National Park and other national parks around the country. Our friendship sparked instantly, and Sam and I even ventured on a girls trip to Hawaii the next year and became great friends. Fast-forward to now, and they’re getting ready to welcome a new adventure – a beautiful baby girl!
Meeting up at Max Patch was a reunion with my great friends, mixed with a sprinkle of anticipation for the new life about to join them. We embarked on a mini-hike, surrounded by green mountains and blooms that seemed to celebrate along with us. The sun began to dip, casting golden hues across the meadow – a picture-perfect backdrop for a couple awaiting their newest joy – their sweet baby girl!
As a photographer, the line between client and friend often blurs, and capturing significant moments for people I deeply care about is the ultimate reward. Sam and Mic were no exception. The session was filled with laughter, a few (happy) tears, and countless stunning photos that they’ll cherish forever.
