I had the honor of capturing the most beautiful Joshua Tree engagement session in the park with Amber and Dave. Amber and Dave live in the area and wanted to capture their engagement in a special place that they love. As they arrived in the park, the skies were crystal clear and the sun just beginning to set sharply against the desert landscape!
Amber and Dave exchanged sweet moments, exploring the trails, and reclining in the golden sands of the desert. These two were absolutely enamored with each other, and it was such a joy to document their love! Amber looked absolutely stunning in her dress, which perfectly complemented the desert landscape and overall vibe of Joshua Tree.
The way that Dave looked at Amber when he would smile left no doubt that these two were in love. Their session was full of genuine emotion and connection. Whenever they would talk and laugh, they often had to take a few moments and just look in each other’s eyes, enjoying the gravity of the love that they share!

Of course we were nervous in the beginning but Mattie is just a natural at making people feel at ease and truly captured our love better than we could’ve imagined!
